An ultra & relay race – run solo or as a team of 4. 34 miles along the River Severn and/or Severn Valley Railway from Bridgnorth to Stourport and the Staffs & Worcs Canal to Stourbridge.
The relay is for 4 people with legs of 8, 6, 10 & 10 miles

Thank you so much for your support yesterday at the Stourbridge Stagger. I was overwhelmed from the very beginning when so many of you turned up early to help set up the course and registration area. The atmosphere in and around the Hub and out on the course was positive and uplifting. The feedback given by the runners, both at the end of the race and on Facebook is how motivating and friendly the marshals were and the photos already posted reinforce this. Tim’s Sunday morning marathon training group which is catered for most abilities from 9 to 12 minute per mile with regular stops, there maybe additional faster group in the coming weeks when pace and distance gets longer. We meet every Sunday morning at 8.30am by the main gates in Mary Stevens Park except for Sunday 3rd February due to the Stourbridge Stagger race.

We on the committee cannot stress enough, the importance THE STAGGER plays, in the financial health of the club. (THE STUMBLE usually makes a small loss.) THE STAGGER accounts for over 63% of the club’s income and 100% of any financial surplus the club has. This surplus contributes to club events including, our race teams, many social events like camping and coach trips, club B.B.Q.’s, Christmas events and our charitable giving. We politely remind you that the bar is open within the cricket club pavilion after running on Wednesday evenings for all members wishing to relax, social & chat to other members. The cricket club do provide us with a range of hot and cold food (Sandwiches, sausage rolls, pizza, soup, salad & crisps). The bar caters for all alcoholic & soft drinks which include tea & coffee.
The cricket club pavilion do offer changing facilities with showers for men and women.
